Iām in love with all things audio and Iām passionate about teaching people in ways that are accessible and understandable. I believe that people need to be listened to and that their stories matter.
I've been editing, producing, and engineering podcasts since 2013.Ā
My background & training š
MYĀ BACKGROUND
Iāve worked for a diverse array of people from fledgling podcasters to established networks to academic departments. Iāve learned from some of my radio heroes, including the Peabody award-winning NPR show and podcast, On Being with Krista Tippet, and Transom.org. Iām also a senior trainer for the Danish audio software company Hindenburg.
I studied audio production and engineering at the Institute of Production and Recording in Minneapolis, MN.Ā
Why I teach š
WHY DO I TEACH?

In 2023, I set out to do a 90-day social media commitment. I initially was posting about microdosing and recovery, but two weeks in, a mentor told me to post about all of my interests. My first post about audio got 70,000 views. I quickly learned that I loved teaching peopleĀ about audio and the feedback I got was encouraging. My friends said to me, "When you post about audio you light up. It's different from your other posts." I started getting requests for courses. I love this shit. I could do it all day.
